Grand Baie

Grand Baie is one of the most known cities and is located in the North of Mauritius. Most parts of the city are belonging to the District of Rivière du Rempart; only the Western part is located in the District of Pamplemousses.

During the last decades, Grand Baie has developed to a popular tourist destination. With a large variety of restaurants, bars, hotels and stores; it has not only grown steadily, it has also developed its own flair and nightlife.

In the surrounding of Grand Baie are some beautiful locations and beaches. Additionally, it is a popular starting point for different excursions, to visit the nothern islands.
