Exciting Fishing Trip in the outside lagoon

Tour Description:

The outside lagoon fishing trip is mainly for passionate fishers and everybody who is “at least” used to bigger waves and the rougher outer sea conditions.

Your thrilling fishing adventure will start early in the morning between 06:00 am and 07:00 am from Mahebourg, in the South-East of Mauritius.

Depending from the type of fishing that you prefer, the boat will move to suitable fishing locations. You can choose between the following types of fishing:

– Dropshot (Bottom Fishing)
– Reef Fishing
– Slow or Fast Jigging
– Popping

Of course, a combination or fishing on different spots, would also be possible, too.

Accordingly, the crew will prepare the boat and the equipment for the fishing trip in advance. Additionally the boat is equiped with GPS and a Fishfinding System. If requested (please communicate), a fighting chair would also be available for your fishing experience.

During the trip you will be accompanied by a fishing specialist, who knows the local fishing areas, to maximise your fishing experience.

The duration of the fishing trip is 6 hours and is possible for 1 to 4 persons (maximum) in a private boat. Additionally, the crew will provide you with soft drinks and water.

At the end of your fishing trip, you will move back to Mahebourg at around 12:00 to 13:00pm.

Additional informations:

Please wear adequate clothes, that protects you from the sun, wind and rain. Headgear, gloves and a towel, as well as suncream would also be useful, too. If you have the tendency of getting seasick, a scopolamine patch or an alternative medication could help you to prevent it. In this case it is advised to take the medicament already on the eve before. There is no food getting offered during the trip. If you like, you are welcome to bring your own food, breakfast or snacks for the trip.

We practisize “Catch & Release” for different types of fish, depending on the species and size and additionally the “Catch” remains with the boat owner.
